~ High School Options are Available! ~

We are excited to announce that we are offering a full hybrid program for students in 10th grade for the 2024-2025 school year (and add one grade per year until we are K-12). Hybrid students meet on-site at Paideia at least twice a week for 15 weeks per semester.

9th & 10th Grade Options

Howell Hybrid Partnership (Optional Learning):

We welcome you to grow with us as we mold this program to the needs of our families. Join us for an informational meeting. https://www.paideialearning.org/informational-meetings

Howell students will receive high school credits for classes taken, which will be added to the student’s high school transcript.

Self-Pay Hybrid:

Families who pay out of pocket receive the same in-person instruction as those who enroll with Howell Schools, except classes are not “for credit.”

At this time, Paideia does not provide transcripts for self-pay families.

Information on high school homeschool options can be are offered through area businesses.

Electives-Only:

Students in 9th and 10th grade can take “non-essential” (or elective) classes through Paideia.

Paideia offers a variety of classes on and off-site throughout the year. Parents are responsible for tracking course credit for classes. Paideia will provide a syllabus to the parent, but we do not issue credit certification for self-pay classes.

Howell A La Carte:

Howell Public Schools (HPS) offer variety of options for 9th-12th grade students. HPS registered Paideia students who are in 10th grade can take a combination of optional in-person Paideia classes, dual enrollment classes, and online classes.

Credits taken through HPS will be added to the student’s high school transcript. Course options include Paideia-Howell partnership classes, Howell High School classes, Paideia Virtual online classes, or “for credit” course through an area college. Full funding is available for any HPS class, so families do not have to pay anything out of pocket.

Self-Pay A La Carte:

Students enrolling in 10th grade are invited to take A La Carte classes. Do you need help teaching Geometry or Chemistry, but want to teach other subjects at home? We can help with that. Maybe it’s composition, grammar and electives that you’d prefer to outsource. We’ve got you covered. Take the classes you need with Paideia and homeschool the rest of the time.

Paideia does not provide transcripts for self-pay families at this time. You can check with:

Dual Enrollment:

Students in 9th and 10th grade can dual enroll. Dual Enrollment occurs when a student takes college level classes while still in high school. The college classes may count towards BOTH your high school diploma and give you transferable college credits.

All high school students (grades 9-12) are eligible for dual enrollment. You may enroll at ANY college in Michigan.
